We have spent Thanksgiving in the Hemingway Manor for five years, so we obvious enjoy the property. Great kitchen for cooking Thanksgiving dinner, common rooms, bedrooms and baths all serve well for 8-12 people without crowding. The heating system works well, there is always plenty of hot water and two gas fireplaces are among the amenities. The property is two blocks from the beach and about half a mile to downtown Rehoboth Beach. The only significant missing amenity is a hot tub although in season a small pool is available. However, the owner/property manager aren’t paying much attention to small details. One of the principal TVs wasn’t working properly this week, a significant drawback for those in the group who love football. A number of lights have burned out and not been replaced, including a few (kitchen, elevator) going back more than one year. Most of the bedroom pillows are tired and need to be replaced, A few more towel racks in the bathrooms would make them more pleasant for multiple users. Most of the outside area seems well kept, except for the piles of leaves in the pool area.
