Delivering in May 2018, this stunning brand new, custom house is the perfect retreat for families, couples and groups of friends to make new memories. Starting in 2017, this house was taken down to the studs for a gut renovation, maintaining touches of a quintessential beach cottage, while bringing it well into the 21st Century. The result is comfortable and relaxing vacation home. The owner is a design professional who's taken great care to choose high-quality, tasteful finishes and furnishings, resulting in a classic, Cape-Cod-meets-Rehoboth beach house.

The house has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms total. The first floor has one bedroom with a queen bed and a full bathroom. The second floor has three bedrooms - one with two twin beds, one with a queen bed, and the master has a king bed. There are two bathrooms upstairs, one on the hall and one en-suite bathroom in the master bedroom. Full basement with washer/dryer, storage

The Main Level is an open concept living room, dining room and kitchen. Features include a comfortable sectional sofa, wall-mounted flat-screen TV, dining table that seats 6, and a kitchen island with bar stool seating for 3. Appliances are high quality (i.e. Bosch dishwasher), and the kitchen is stocked with all the gadgets needed for a fun and relaxing vacation. Those interested in design will appreciate the bead board throughout, custom craftsman kitchen cabinets and moldings, Health tile kitchen backsplash and bathrooms, and furnishings from Room & Board and Design within Reach. There is also a SONOS system.

The house has an accommodating screened-in front porch with seating for 5-perfect for enjoying morning coffee and evening cocktails!

The backyard outdoor space includes an outdoor shower (perfect for showering off in the sun, after the beach), small deck, outdoor seating/dining area and a brand new gas grill-everything you need to relax and have a great time! Please note: there is a separate garage apartment located at the back of the property, behind the main house, so the outdoor shower and walkways are considered communal space.

The location is PERFECT, only 1.5 Blocks to Boardwalk/Beach and 10-minute stroll to the main drag of Rehoboth Avenue with all of the shops and restaurants. Park the car at the house and enjoy walking to the beach and to town - no need to drive all week. Small driveway is available for unloading/loading; street parking is plentiful and three Rehoboth Beach parking passes are provided.

Comfortable & Convenient to Everything!

I stayed at Scott & Matt's beach house last summer. The house is convenient to everything good in Rehoboth...less than 2 blocks to the beach and boardwalk; and about a 15-20 minute walk to all the in- town attractions including many restaurants, galleries, cafes and Funland's boardwalk amusements. The house has a full kitchen, a washer & dryer, and plenty of room for a group of friends, or a family to spread out and relax. The front porch is ideal for people watching, or reading the morning paper while enjoying a cup of coffee. Scott & Matt are excellent, they keep the house and yard in good order.

Rodney Street summer

A group of us rented this house for many years. The former owners and the new owners have taken care of the house as if it's their own. It's a great,, original Rehoboth home. I love sitting on the front porch in the morning and starting happy hour on the back porch in the evening. It's 2 blocks to the beach and 8 or 9 blocks in to town - a great location. There is plenty of space for bicycles.
Perfect in every way.

My family of six enjoyed every minute of this beautiful beach house. The clean lines and fresh aesthetic of this open concept floor plan set the tone immediately for a serene experience. A well stocked kitchen and quality finishes made food prep fun. Comfortable beds and tastefully decorated bedrooms made for peaceful sleep. A delightful front porch with ocean breezes and gorgeous gardens delighted the senses. The location is ideal – just a 1.5 block walk to the beach. We enjoyed walks/runs around the lake and walking into town each day. Can’t wait to return next year.
